The clip was filmed and shared by Dr. Bela Shah Jain, a gynaecologist and obstetrician based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, who posted it on her Instagram account under the handle @the_gynaexpert. The footage shows family members gathered outside the operation theatre, standing with folded hands and visibly anxious as they await news of the delivery.
Moments later, Dr. Jain walks out carrying the newborn. As word spreads that the baby is a girl, the tense atmosphere breaks into celebration. Relatives are seen cheering, applauding, and embracing one another, with several breaking down in tears of happiness. According to the family, the household had seen only sons born across generations for the past 52 years, making the arrival of a daughter an unusually significant and long-awaited event.
